I've only used it to clean a bathroom so far, but if there are any germs left in there, I'll have to name them and call them pets! The cleaner did a great job getting the rubber-type caulking where the floor & tub meet, as well as the toilet hinges. That's an area I can't get a rag into to clean, but the direct-aim nozzle worked great there. There was a lot of steam output, sometimes to the point I couldn't see what I was cleaning. :)

There was no drips while steam was coming out. Very "dry" to use, overall. Along solid surfaces, like baseboards along a vinyl floor, you need paper towels or something to wipe where the steam turned to liquid again if you got the attachment to close to the solid surface, but it's not that much that you can't let it sit while you finish the room and then go back to wipe it up.


However, I'd like to make others aware that when you lay the handle down, to either move something or have to leave the room, be careful when you start to steam again, as some water may have collected and shoot out first, and then the steam. Since I was cleaning in the bathroom, I just held it over the tub for a second or 2 til the steam started again, then moved to where I wanted to clean.

I also blasted silk plants with shots of steam, thinking that if any kind of little dust creepy-crawlers were in there, that would take care of them, as well as along the baseboards/carpet in the hall way. And I even steamed a few of the grandkids Beanie Babies that were on a shelf, and didn't see any ill-effects on the furry collectibles.

Any down side to the product would be 2 or more extensions flex slightly if you press to hard with the attachments. I used a small nylon brush attachment to get behind the toilet, not wanted to get on my hands and knees with the attachment on just the handle grip, which by the way is comfortable to hold.

I'm anxious to try it out on toddler car seats (while still in the car?); car wheels; wooden outdoor furniture; and anything else that hasn't had a good cleaning in a while!

I am a very meticulous person about a clean house! I have several cleaning aids in my household, and have found some real duds! If there is a good piece of equipment out there for cleaning, I have tried it or own it!!! As an animal lover I have 2 dogs (one sheds all year round and weighs 108lbs, and the other tracks anything you can imagine into my house; 16 lbs) and a bird (loves to throw the food she doesn't like onto the floor), and personally feel that my floors should be cleaned daily.
I originally purchased this cleaner for my hard wood floors and kitchen floor, but have also utilized it for cleaning my bird cage. It does a fabulous job and is very impressive.
Originally I thought that I would be impatient about the warm up time but found that I could vacuum the floors while it warms up and it was ready when I was finished.
I am able to clean my hardwood floor in my sunroom, utility room floor, kitchen floor, and eating area of the kitchen before I need to refill it.
The cord length is good, and the unit is very lightweight even when filled.
I haven't had the time to use it in my shower, tile flooring or on my grill, but when my schedule slows, I can guarantee that I will utilize this little wonder to its fullest.
My only concern (which hasn't been a problem yet and hope it never is) is the 2 lengths of the extension tubes that connect right in the middle. I am hoping that they won't snap in half while clenaing the floors. Maybe a dual latch where they snap together would reinforce them.
This is an absolute value of a cleaning aid!! Throw out those chemicals and go green with this powerful cleaner!!!
